Team comps
14/14 at beast rank 15, from the FC guide's team screenshot.
Mrhappy1227's Legendary clear — confirmed from the video: Cu Sith and Coeurl for damage, Buffalo for its 15s stun on the Ymir. All three at rank 15 (the board's sync).
Bring the lot and pick three per stop; each battle page names the suggested trio. Not a scoring comp (roster-size bonus is lost).
Strategy
Normal clear
Bring the full squad (see Team comps above — Third Board of the Unbroken allows the cap shown in the header). This is the leveling run: everyone gains rank XP, so follow the cap − 3 rule from the Crucible overview if you’re leveling the whole team.
Safe route
Right, right, right at all three forks. Two campsites and a shop. Pick up paralysis resistance along the way for the boss — Crimson Ribbon or a G2 Antiparalysis Soul Serum.
Coverage roster
Squirrel, Raptor, Cu Sith, Behemoth, Buffalo, Ice Golem, Diremite, Colibri, Damselfly, Crab, Wespe, Adamantoise, Coblyn, Mantis. First level-50 board; expect a few attempts and some beast leveling.

Legendary run
Team: triple Beastkin — Cu Sith, Buffalo, Coeurl, all at rank 15 (the board’s sync; his beast rank was 19). Coeurl is self-sufficient in its combo: lightning damage plus a lightning-resistance down that boosts its own follow-up. Cu Sith is there to burst. Buffalo was picked for exactly one job — its 15-second stun in the second fight — and the comp was built around that.
Gear in the run: weapon and hoplon +3, head +1, body +1, hands +2, legs +1, feet +2, no food.
Bonuses to bank
Legendary needs ~17,500; the run scored 18.5k with:
- Beast Squad III + Beastkin Gambit — three beasts, one classification.
- Habitual Hoarder (10 Crucible items, 1,000) and Walking Armory (10 beast gear, 500). Neither is strictly required, but together they cover one mistake on the boss. Crucible items are the more important 10.
- Unbeastable — never take a Vulnerability Up or Damage Down. Getting grabbed by the tethered zombie on the Siren fight, or clipped by a Dead Man’s Dirge, forfeits this.
- No Beast Left Behind and Selfless — keep pets alive and at full HP. Two fights on this board (the Siren and the boss) cleave with their auto-attacks, and the cleave hits your pet: keep the boss facing away from it, or use the Place pet command to park it on the far side.
- Economic Ethos — no Crucible items used on the boss (the run had 10 hoarded and used none).
Habits that carry the run
- Before almost every fight: summon a Beastkin, Borrow from it, then swap to the beast you’ll actually open with. Beastskin is worth it here — 25% less damage taken and 5% crit for the duration.
- Parting Blow before a tankbuster or AoE so the pet isn’t out for it — the Zu’s tankbuster is an AoE and will hit a pet, unlike most.
- Don’t release and re-summon at bad moments on the boss; that’s how pets eat autos.
Items and shops
- Early tiles drop a fang, a sand and an eye. Take the eye that boosts territory tokens over the one that boosts loot — buying from shops is worth more.
- Buy the cheapest Crucible items and beast gear (50–100 token sale items) purely to reach 10 of each. Duplicates can’t be bought, so at the treasure near the end pick the most expensive item, leaving the cheap ones purchasable in the final shop.
- Ring of Curing early makes Legendary “a joke”; Ring of Curing + Mirage Vest and there’s no chance you miss. With that much sustain you can go full offensive on beast gear.
- Vampiric Fang (heal), Beast Potion (heal, can proc auto-potion), Mystic Boots (movement — helps with the paralyze on the boss), Crimson Ribbon (paralysis resistance for the boss tankbuster). A blind or petrification potion usually drops off the second boss.
- Shop-free runs are fine on boards 1–2 but not from the third board on — you want both 10s.
Route and fights
Enemy 1 → enemy 2 (Ymir) → shop → Zu (the elite fork, not the Catoblepas) → Lakhamu → treasure → Siren (elite) → treasure → shop → boss. Mechanics for each are on the battle pages (see Battles on this board below).
Board 2 is the easiest of the three to optimise; this one is harder mainly because of the boss’s pet-cleaving autos.
