zu piece, cockerel piece, pullet piece
Enemy pieces
Signature: Fore Carve
Signature: Caustic VomitHeavy
Weaknesses come straight from the game data (they match the in-game board preview). The star ratings the preview shows for Strength / Intelligence / resistances aren't decoded yet, and attack patterns beyond the signature action aren't in the data at all — that's what the write-up below is for.
Strategy
Mechanics
Zu, cockerel & pullet — the elite fork (the other fork is the Catoblepas).
- It drops ground hazards and spawns eggs around the arena. Play it slow until the end; keep the Zu centred so your uptime is full and your 250-TP drop lands in the middle of the room.
- Its tankbuster is an AoE and will hit your pet — Parting Blow right before it.
- It tries to hatch eggs; kill it through that rather than dealing with them. Loot here is a coin flip (a Vampiric Fang is a good roll).

Abilities & loadout
Zu Piece — elite.
Suggested trio: Ice Golem, Damselfly, Wespe — highest damage plus an interrupt.
Abilities
- Hatch — two eggs hatch unless killed before the cast ends
- Caustic Vomit — interruptible damage buff, cast by the hatchling
- Crossbreeze — plus-shaped AoE
- Flying Frenzy — AoE tankbuster — don’t drop it on the pet
- Ferocious Fore / Rear Carve — tethered front or back cleave; stretch it purple. Doesn’t break eggs
- Airy Pursuit — AoEs that follow you — drop at a wall and cross to the other
How to handle it
The eggs are the fight. Killing one gives Zu a permanent damage buff, and they die to almost anything including an AoE dropped on them. The hatchlings are fine to kill. So: Crossbreeze in the middle and step out, keep every AoE off the eggs, kill the two hatchlings, interrupt Caustic Vomit.
