These immense tortoises native to Thavnair found their way to Eorzea near the end of the Sixth Astral Era─a shipment of dodo eggs intended for feast days had some unintentional additions. The scalekin that were spared consumption hatched and proliferated, their eggs now considered a rare delicacy.
