Weaknesses come straight from the game data (they match the in-game board preview). The star ratings the preview shows for Strength / Intelligence / resistances aren't decoded yet, and attack patterns beyond the signature action aren't in the data at all — that's what the write-up below is for.

Strategy

draft · Icy Veins (summarised) · updated 2026-09-18

Mechanics

Corpse Flower Piece — possible triple-card fight.

Suggested trio: Mantis, Damselfly, Wespe — often just a loot node; if it’s a fight, burn it.

Abilities

  • Budding Thorns — three saplings with expanding thorns — slow you, but block draw-ins while you stand in them
  • Floral Trap — 2 s bind then draw-in; if it lands she eats you and gains a damage buff
  • Rotten Stench — stack marker (fine to take alone)
  • Acid Rain — AoEs that follow you

Queen Hawk Piece

  • Final Sting — goes off if it isn’t killed in time

How to handle it

Stand in thorns for Floral Trap and don’t be in front afterward. Trick: the trap will eat the Queen Hawk instead and kill it outright with no buff — position so it gets pulled and you don’t.
