The apkallu is a flightless aquatic bird that inhabits coastal regions. It mainly feeds upon small fish such as sardines, and, when threatened, will vomit the caustic contents of its stomach with alarming range and intensity. Some even guise their propellants into fish as large as tuna, to further intimidate potential predators.
