Weaknesses come straight from the game data (they match the in-game board preview). The star ratings the preview shows for Strength / Intelligence / resistances aren't decoded yet, and attack patterns beyond the signature action aren't in the data at all — that's what the write-up below is for.

Strategy

draft · Icy Veins (summarised) · updated 2026-09-18

Mechanics

Boogeyman Piece — possible triple-card fight.

Suggested trio: Behemoth, Worm, Geshunpest — AoE, tankiness and a cleanse.

Abilities

  • Provision — swaps weapon; autos inflict a vulnerability to the other weapon — swap who tanks each time
  • Ripples of Gloom — cleansable blind
  • Veil of Darkness — boss and its bombs / deepeye go invisible unless you are close; light sprites are always visible
  • Swoop (sword) — dash to a wall, large cone toward centre — follow and stand at its side
  • Swing Round (sword) — large circle — move away
  • Swoop (club) — dash to a wall, massive circle with knockback — move away
  • Swing Round (club) — big knockback — stay close so you aren’t walled; Shield Charge back

Adds

  • Bomb — repeated Explosion; self-destructs if ignored
  • Deepeye — petrifying gaze
  • Sprite — cone toward its facing when it dies — aim it at the boss to reveal it

How to handle it

During Veil, Meteor the invisible pack (bombs first, then the deepeye) and kill a sprite facing the boss to light it up.
