Weaknesses come straight from the game data (they match the in-game board preview). The star ratings the preview shows for Strength / Intelligence / resistances aren't decoded yet, and attack patterns beyond the signature action aren't in the data at all — that's what the write-up below is for.
Strategy
Mechanics
Loosefrox Inkyjots & Chewchum Popoto — boss.
Suggested trio: Salamander, Gigantoad, Opo-opo — Quelling Wave for Water damage + dispel, Blunt damage, and tankiness.
Abilities
- Gobspin Headlops — short unlit sword = circle (get away); long glowing sword = donut (stay close)
- Kinborrow — dispellable Vulnerability Down on the goblin
- Gobbieboom Barrage — waves of Gobbie Bombs: small round ones can be pushed by attacks (small circle); big spiky ones can’t (large cross)
- Bomb Toss — small circle
- Goblin Hammer — medium circles everywhere — tiny safe spots
Chewchum Popoto (worm)
- Sand Breath — frontal cone from a sandpool
- Earthquake — enrage
How to handle it
Kill both around the same time or you get an endless enrage — but the worm isn’t always targetable. It burrows, surfaces at a “!” pool and Sand Breaths; stand behind the pool.
After the first Barrage the worm dashes three times between pools. Hit a round bomb so it rolls into the pool it stopped in — it detonates, flips the worm and opens a burst window. Dispel Kinborrow with Quelling Wave each time. Later barrages mix spiky bombs in: the big ones pop first with a safe spot in the centre, then push a small one into the worm’s pool.
